1. Information We Collect

We do not require account registration and do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers. Data you enter (group names, member names, amounts, memos, wallet addresses) is used solely to provide the expense-splitting functionality.

Access logs (IP addresses, browser info, timestamps) may be recorded automatically by our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) for security and stability purposes.

To investigate bugs and improve quality, we also store technical environment information for the device you use: OS and OS version, browser type and version, device type, screen size, time zone, language setting, and country (derived from network routing). We do not store your IP address for this purpose, and this information is not used to identify individuals. It is retained only for as long as needed for troubleshooting and may be deleted periodically.

2. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Cloudflare's cloud database and your browser's local storage. Only people who know your group URL can access the data. Groups inactive for 180 days may be automatically deleted.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to cache group data for the Service to function. Third parties (Google LLC) may place cookies for analytics and advertising as described below. Please note that if you clear your browser cache or local storage, you may lose access to your group unless you have saved the group URL.

4. Analytics & Advertising

The following third-party services may collect user data (cookies, device info, IP addresses, browsing history) and transmit it to their servers. This disclosure is made pursuant to applicable telecommunications laws.

• Google Analytics: Used to analyze usage patterns (page views, referral sources, session duration). Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense: Used to display personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
• ADSTIR (United, Inc.): Used to deliver targeted ads based on your browsing behavior (cookies, device info, IP address). You can opt out at adstir opt-out page. Governed by United, Inc.'s Privacy Policy.
• ID5 (ID5 Technology): A Universal ID service that helps optimize ad delivery even where third-party cookies are restricted, using an identifier derived from your IP address and browser/device information (via ADSTIR) for ad targeting and frequency control. You can opt out at ID5's privacy & opt-out page. Governed by ID5's Privacy Policy.
• A8.net (Fan Communications, Inc.): Used for affiliate advertising. When you click an affiliate link on this Service, A8.net may set cookies to track clicks and conversions. Governed by Fan Communications' Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as required by law or in anonymized, non-identifiable form.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data via our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
